Wardrobe post: Yeojin Bae Knit Dress and Tartan Jacket

I don't do outfit posts very frequently. I lack the motivation to dress up, make sure my hair and makeup look half-decent and then stand in front of a tripod and run back and forth half-a-dozen times until I get a good shot.

I have endless respect for the countless bloggers out there who regularly do wardrobe or style posts. Some of my favourites are listed below:

Lady Melbourne
Where Did U Get That?
4th and Bleeker
Cupcakes and Cashmere
Le Luca
Smaggle Style

Each of varying style and professionalism, these blogs make me smile and provided me with enough inspiration to give the outfit post another shot.

In a previous post, I wrote about a jacket that I practiced some DIY on recently.

I often wear it with my grey Ellery dress, but last weekend I teamed it up with my Yeojin Bae knit dress and Bianca Buccheri wedge booties. Oh-so-comfortable, and able to take me from work to dinner in a flash.

Maybe next time I'll work on the location.

  1. I Love Tartan but I especially love the colour of your tartan jacket. Lovely warm colours. Thank you for your comment on my blog. You should definitely dine at Bistro Guillaume in the near future. H. xoxo

  2. Totally know what you mean about doing outfit posts! I always think that people aren't too bothered about what I'm wearing and they prob would think it looks rubbish anyway, haha!

Cute jacket and really enjoying your blog XX

  3. @akisa Thanks! I'm much happier with the jacket now the zips are more discrete.

@Madamoiselle H Thank you! The tartan is such an unusual blue colour it does stand out, doesn't it. I have been getting comments on it when I go out, which is nice!

@Sophie P Thanks again, hon, pleased you're enjoying it!

  4. I loooooove the cut of that jacket! Super chic! And those shoes look incredibly comfortable, and stylish, a hard combo to find!

  5. That jacket is super cute. I've been to Bolleball and found many other pretty outfits too! You should go back there and check out the new trendy dresses!

  6. Oh yeah, I forgot!
The "Vangelica" outfits in Bolleball are the best. My wardrobe contains lots of Vangelica.
I buy Vangelica, I don't care if the cost is pricy. I've even seen many people wearing it.
I always hear,"Where did you get that",or,"Cute dress". I get more respect wearing Vangelica.

  7. @Anonymous I agree, the Vangelica brand does seem to do better than the other, cheaper labels such as Sunny Girl, *cough*.

I'll certainly have to pop back into the store - haven't been in ages!
